Once Around is a 1991 romantic comedy-drama film about a young woman who falls for and eventually marries an overbearing older man who proceeds to rub her close-knit family the wrong way. It stars Richard Dreyfuss, Holly Hunter, Danny Aiello, Laura San Giacomo and Gena Rowlands and was directed by Lasse Hallstrom. Renata Bella is an immature young woman from New England who still lives with her parents. Seeking a new adventure when her fiance dumps her, Renata flies to a Caribbean real-estate seminar, where she encounters a charismatic super-salesman, Sam Sharpe. They are immediately smitten, so Renata brings him home to meet her parents. Marilyn and Joe Bella are put off by Sam's abrasive behavior, crude manner and arrogance, as is Renata's sister Jan. The family must adjust when Sam and Renata decide to marry and start a family of their own. This film used Fly me to the Moon by Frank Sinatra as its theme.
