Transsiberian is a 2008 thriller directed by Brad Anderson, which premiered at the 2008 Sundance Film Festival and began its theatrical release on July 18, 2008 in New York City. The film was written by Anderson and Will Conroy, starred Woody Harrelson, Emily Mortimer and Ben Kingsley, and was set on the Trans-Manchurian Railway between Beijing and Moscow (the film's name is a misnomer). Filming began in December 2006 in Vilnius, Lithuania, with additional photography in Beijing and Russia.
