George of the Jungle 2 is the 2003 direct-to-video sequel of the 1997 Disney film George of the Jungle. It was directed by David Grossman, written by Jordan Moffet, and stars Thomas Haden Church, Julie Benz, Christina Pickles, Michael Clarke Duncan, John Cleese, and introducing Christopher Showerman as "George". The movie focuses on George trying to save Ape Mountain from his evil arch-nemesis Lyle (Thomas Haden Church). The sequel received less praise than the original film. The film opens with an animated segment to start, mostly with animal arguments. Then the live portion begins, as George (Christopher Showerman) and his son Junior (Angus T. Jones) ride in on Shep. When the narrator (voiced by Keith Scott) shows a surprise reaction of the actor playing George, the "new George" states that the studio is "too cheap to pay Brendan Fraser."
