Good parody with a wonderful cast. I'd probably rate higher if I watched Star Wars.

More a feat of individual quotable, chuckle-worthy scenes than a fully realized film

The humor is really dated and very childish. First time watch, so no nostalgia for me.

Funny, but people who confuse Star Wars with real life might be offended.

I had such fond memories of this film as a child, sadly many of the jokes have aged poorly

This is how you spoof a SF film. Take notes. Nah, screw it. Just enjoy it

A great parody of Star Wars, pure and simple. Rick Moranis steals the show as Dark Helmet.

Spaceballs is the best Star Wars spoof out there. Hands down. Mel Brooks is a genius.
