Gothic and gorgeous cinematography + colors. Plot was meh and tad too guessable, though.

It wants to be horror and romance. It's not good at either of them.

Really dark concept but the best love stories are really horror films.

Great visuals as usual from a Del Toro film and a very good story to go with them.
