Utmost childish interpretation of WWII. Mawkish, shallow, moronic, and mostly disjointed.

It feels like truth maybe be more potent than the fiction and it's hard to tell them apart

Love the twist in the usual WWII plot. Of course, the stellar cast helps!

Turns out to be a pretty decent and alternative war movie!

Great film. Slow-going at times but very good acting and dramatization.

For such an interesting story, the film is really flat. Great cast underutilized. Shame.

I know I'm suppose to care about centuries of art being lost, but I just don't.

Probably the most boring war and art movie ever and a handfull of top stars do not help.

Amazing cast, really interesting story and yet... it drags, it's slow and non-compelling.

I think they did very well with this movie, it's good but also has humour.

While it doesn't really do anything very different, it was fun to watch and a good film.

It was entertaining while watching but had no impact. Waste of such a good cast.

Amazing story with average delivery. Identity crisis not really comedy nor drama.
Based on the true story of the greatest treasure hunt in history, The Monuments Men is an action drama focusing on seven over-the-hill, out-of-shape museum directors, artists, architects, curators, and art historians who went to the front lines of WWII to rescue the world’s artistic masterpieces from Nazi thieves and return them to their rightful owners. With the art hidden behind enemy lines, how could these guys hope to succeed?
