Chris Evans is great as Captain America. This follow up film might be my favorite.

My personal favorite from the MCU. A very different tone for Marvel that's very exciting.

"Hey, Solider". Great as a sequel or a stand alone. Marvel is on fire with this one!

Regarded in far too high esteem; another ho-hum, corporate MCU film. Enjoyable but empty.

Best movie in the MCU so far. Great action-packed story, and Chris Evans.

Not bad actioner. If only it wasn't tied to the constraints of a franchise.

Really strong. One of the best Marvel movies out there.

6.5/10 first one is better. Winter Soldier was pretty cool
Leif Jacobson 4 years ago
The strongest solo Marvel film so far, it's exciting, action-packed, and a bit touching.

Needed more on Cap'ns internal conflict. Robert Redford in the poster walks strange.
Ida Ayu Utari over 4 years ago
Arguably the best MCU movie ever since Iron Man.

This film focuses more on the characters in the universe and is full of great content.

Snoresville. I gave Marvel 25% of my take-home pay 1973-80. For this? Golly what crap.
Kosala Liyanage almost 5 years ago
Not too bad, but felt a little hurried, like all the Marvel movies of late.

Watched it at the OBX. Great crowd-pleasing blockbuster
Jim Barton 5 years ago
Better than the first one.

The best of the single hero Marvel films so far

Actually enjoyed this one for some reason. Maybe it was Scarlett?

Brilliant spy version of superhero movies: simplified but intense. Gaping flaw at end tho

A superhero movie for the modern era. Fantastic.
After the cataclysmic events in New York with The Avengers, Steve Rogers, aka Captain America is living quietly in Washington, D.C. and trying to adjust to the modern world. But when a S.H.I.E.L.D. colleague comes under attack, Steve becomes embroiled in a web of intrigue that threatens to put the world at risk. Joining forces with the Black Widow, Captain America struggles to expose the ever-widening conspiracy while fighting off professional assassins sent to silence him at every turn. When the full scope of the villainous plot is revealed, Captain America and the Black Widow enlist the help of a new ally, the Falcon. However, they soon find themselves up against an unexpected and formidable enemy—the Winter Soldier.
