Long Weekend (released on video in the U.S. as Nature's Grave) is a 2008 remake of the 1978 Australian film Long Weekend. It was directed by Jamie Blanks. Peter and Carla are a suburban couple taking a weekend vacation in the hopes of repairing their relationship. What they do not know is that when they mess with nature, nature will bite them back twice as hard. They set out to an isolated beach where they encounter nature's revenge. The film was released on October 9, 2008 in Spain to the "Sitges International Fantastic Film Festival" and featured at the Edinburgh International Film Festival 2009.
